Mount Albert Sports Day & Spring Fair is celebrating its 85th year June 4th, 5th and 6th, 2010!!
Mount Albert Sports Day & Spring Fair invites Crafters, Vendors and Artisans to sell their wares in the C/V/A Alley. A 10 by 10 space is $30 per day for Saturday June 5th and/or Sunday June 6th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Those participating will need to supply their own covering (i.e. tent if desired) as well at tables, chairs, display boards, etc.
The C/V/A Alley will be on the center asphalt tarmac beside the community hall. In previous years Sports Day has selected various locations within the fair; through trial and error the committee has decided the asphalt tarmac is the best location for the C/V/A Alley due to traffic flow.
Vehicles will need to enter/exit the fairgrounds for setup and park at the Mount Albert Public School. More information will be supplied for those interested in booking space. No vehicle can be left in the park due to safety and space restrictions.
All proceeds raised are used for upkeep in our Community Parks, previous funds raised have assisted in the creation of “Family Place” within the hall , upgrading the washroom facilities inside and outside, the kitchen in the hall, fencing, accessibility ramp, window covering, stage curtains, baseball bleachers, flag poles, etc, etc. Please let you family and friends know of this annual community event.
